Alexandria Ward One

Alexandria is a city in and the parish seat of Rapides Parish, Louisiana, United States. It lies on the south bank of the Red River in almost the exact geographic center of the state. It is the principal city of the Alexandria metropolitan area (population 153,922) which encompasses all of Rapides and Grant parishes. Home to the Alexandria Aces, a summer college league team, Alexandria is also known for its museum, arts, historic buildings and sports.

Hard to say where we had the best meal or best wine (it was all great) but the 2008 Barollo was a hit!When we were in the hot tub outside at Belvedere looking out onto the water, we were just in awe and felt so relaxed.
