British Indian Ocean Territory

The British Indian Ocean Territory (BIOT) is an overseas territory of the United Kingdom situated in the Indian Ocean halfway between Tanzania and Indonesia. The territory comprises the seven atolls of the Chagos Archipelago with over 1,000 individual islands – many very small – amounting to a total land area of 60 square kilometres (23 sq mi).

It is one of only two British territories that drives automobiles on the right side of the road, the other being Gibraltar. This has been said to be because the territory was previously occupied by the French, but France ceded the islands to the UK long before the invention of the automobile.

This tropical paradise of beautiful beaches, it is renowned for its stunning sunsets, breathtaking scenery, awesome surf, and pristine rain forests.

Had an amazing Birthday, can’t imagine anything better!

Everything went perfect from our flights to the transfers you arranged to getting on the ship.  Celebrity treats us so well - it was nice to relax for the first couple of days.   The hotels you booked for us in Barcelona & Paris were amazing!  Here's the lovely view from our room!  Thank you again for everything, especially the birthday champagne! I’ve been definitely telling a lot of people we meet about your service.
